The Indian Journal for Human Development (IJHD) is a peer reviewed multi disciplinary journal encouraging academic researchers, development practioners and the policy making community to engage in rigorous discussion on social, economic, political, legal and cultural concerns from the human development perspective. The journal also promotes critical engagement with conventional theories of development and discourse of human development.
The IJHD invites articles on issues affecting development, marginalization, social hierarchy, poverty and inequality from number of disciplines including economics, history, politics, philosophy, legal studies, anthropology, sociology and films and cultural studies. The Journal welcomes expressions of all shades and opinions.
