About the Training Workshop
The Institute for Human Development (IHD), New Delhi in collaboration with Campbell South Asia is organising a three-day training workshop on ‘Impact Evaluation of Development Programmes: Understanding Theory and Practice' during 22-24 October 2024. The workshop aims to equip participants with the essential scientific methodologies and practical skills to meet the increasing demand for rigorous evaluation of development programmes and interventions. The Training Workshop is open to researchers, development practitioners, government functionaries and others interested in impact evaluation and interventions.

Eligibility Criteria
The Training Workshop is open to researchers, development practitioners, government functionaries and others interested in impact evaluation and interventions.
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of research experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant field
- Must be located in India as the workshop is in offline mode
- Basic knowledge of statistics and econometric Tools
The organisers promote gender equality and encourage women to apply.
By the end of this workshop, participants will:
- Thoroughly understand common impact evaluation methods
- Be able to select the most appropriate methods for their specific situation, project, or organization
- Have a grasp of the key issues involved in conducting evaluations and strategies for addressing them
- Analyse real-life case studies to see how impact evaluation is applied in practice
