Vikas Dubey is a Research Associate at the Institute, manages and analyses large-scale primary and secondary datasets using advanced statistical packages like SPSS and Stata. He has contributed to several projects at the institute that focused on human development, employment, poverty and inequality. His expertise lies in Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) surveys and developing questionnaire formats, logistics, and programming through CS PRO. Dubey has exceptional knowledge on concepts and categories employed in surveys such as NSS, NFHS, ASI and Census of India, as well as measuring development parameters such as income, consumption expenditure, poverty, HDI, and employment and unemployment. He is currently involved in flagship projects of the Institute namely; Study on Uttarakhand Poverty and Social Monitoring, 3rd Delhi Human Development Report to name a few.
